A useful distinction
A recipe can combine washing, measuring, resting and cooking with different time requirements. A tidy ingredient photograph does not show this sequence. A preparation plan can reveal which tasks must finish before an active cooking step begins.
Put it into practice
Sketch the actual recipe sequence and identify shared equipment. Include relevant storage and handling requirements instead of leaving perishable ingredients out for convenience. Keep the plan beside the complete method so a short checklist does not silently omit an essential instruction.
