A useful distinction
Noodles sold in different forms can have different ingredients, storage requirements and cooking instructions. Their appearance alone does not show the appropriate timing. A package and tested recipe provide more useful practical information than a universal rule for “noodles”.
Put it into practice
Keep the package instructions available and check that the recipe describes the product form you have. Record a substitution honestly rather than silently using the original cooking time. Read ingredient labels separately where they matter; visual similarity does not establish the same composition.
